The Florida Department of Banking and Finance provides Florida consumers with information and education they need to make informed financial decisions. A. In close cooperation with IPD and IF, assess financial/administrative and accounting capacity of Finance and Admin Staff of LWR offices and initiate a plan of action for addressing and enhancing the office capacities, especially related to financial management, grants management, office administration, and partner compliance monitoring.
Plan and manage the start up of the Finance function for new regional stations; this would include the appointment of Finance Managers (FMs), set up of bank accounts, appointing auditors/tax consultants, concluding third party contacts, arranging new FMs orientation at Head Office.

The regional services offices are located strategically throughout the state and provide consumers with access to one-on-one guidance regarding insurance and financial issues. This means that horizontal adjustment at the state level will not have an impact on the state budget, and adjustment at the regional level will not have an impact on the budget of regional self-government. Furthermore, regional self-governing bodies are not yet operational, and local self-governing bodies are very limited in their ability to make the necessary policy and budget decisions on major public services such as education, social care, health services, culture, and transportation.
